Dr. Elia takes great pride in mentoring and providing clinical supervision to Registered Psychological Assistants (PA) and Marriage and Family Therapy Registered Interns (MFTI) who are interested in developing a private practice. Dr. Elia's current team consists of Elnaz Mayeh, MFTI, IMF 99907 who is supervised by Dr. Elia. Elnaz offers sliding scale and weekend and evening appointments.
Elnaz Mayeh, M.A., MFTI is a registered intern and has received training at AIDS Project Los Angeles and Prominence Treatment Center. She received her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She provides services to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples under my supervision. Her areas of interest and expertise include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma and stressor-related disorders, HIV+, LGBTQ, parenting skills training, relational and marital issues, and addiction. Elnaz primarily applies CBT, solution-focused, mindfulness, and supportive therapy depending on the unique needs of each client. Elnaz provides therapy in both English and Farsi, offers sliding scale, and accepts evening and weekend appointments.
