Dr. Elia values mentoring and supervising clinicians as a part of her private practice. She currently supervises two associates, Michelle Rincon, M.A., and Farnaz Mizrahi, Psy.D. both talented clinicians with solid clinical skills and immense empathy who are trained in working with diverse populations, ages and disorders and who also offers sliding scale and weekend appointments.

Michelle completed her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Michelle's thirst for knowledge and commitment to the field of psychology is further exemplified in her currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Michelle has served as a counseling intern for a Charter schools and the Beverly Hills’ Norman Aid Wellness Center, where she assessed and implemented mental health interventions for individuals and groups, as well as provided academic advisement and social-emotional support to K-12 students. She has facilitated individual and group therapy around the topics of identity, stress and coping skills, depression, anxiety, and motivation. Michelle’s areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, grief, career exploration, sexual identity, relationship challenges, co-dependency, and family conflict. Michelle believes that a person’s lived experience can provide both barriers and resources towards growth, and that one would benefit from discovering these in order to thrive.

FARNAZ MIZRAHI, PSY.D. PSB94027457
Dr. Mizrahi completed her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. She has extensive clinical experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. She approaches her work with the perspective that each situation and individual is unique and hence integrates various psychological approaches including Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationships, and parent coaching. She prides herself in working hard to gain a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of the struggles patients may face, and work collaboratively with them to achieve their goals. Her objective is to help alleviate suffering, facilitate greater self-awareness, and foster a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
